RUN BY VOLUNTEERS
The Kindness Closet is led by a dedicated team of volunteers from Trinity United Methodist Church who share a heart for serving others. These volunteers give their time, energy, and compassion to sort donations, organize clothing and essentials, welcome guests, and make sure every person who walks through our doors is treated with dignity and care. What makes this ministry special is the spirit behind it. It is neighbors helping neighbors, hands and hearts working together to make sure no one in our community feels forgotten. Through their service, our volunteers help turn simple acts of kindness into moments of hope, encouragement, and connection.

WHAT IS THE KINDNESS CLOSET
The Kindness Closet is a community outreach ministry dedicated to meeting real, everyday needs with dignity, compassion, and love. We provide clothing and essential items to individuals and families in our community at no cost, creating a welcoming space where everyone is treated with respect and care. More than just a place to receive items, the Kindness Closet is a place of connection, hope, and neighbor helping neighbor. Whether someone is facing a difficult season, starting over, or simply needs a little extra support, we are here to remind them they are seen, valued, and not alone.

SERVING OUR NEIGHBORS
The Kindness Closet is open on Mondays from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM, during the same hours as our Food Pantry. We are located in Classroom 3, in the courtyard on the side of the church. We intentionally share these hours so individuals and families can access multiple resources in one visit. Our goal is to make support simple, welcoming, and convenient for those we serve.
DROP-OFF INFORMATION

Donations are gratefully accepted on Sunday mornings during worship, Monday mornings during Kindness Closet and Food Pantry hours, and Wednesday mornings. We ask that all donated items be clean, odor-free, and gently used so they can be shared with dignity and care within our community.
